Guacamole - Simple, Healthy Summer Snacking
I love this!! Guacamole is one of my absolute favourites, and so simple to make. Here is what I do, but you can make it the way you like – just add more or less of any ingredient!
Guacamole is simple... and a great recipe to get your kids helping out in the kitchen. Thanks goes out to my sister LeFawn for introducing me to my new addiction!
HERE WE GO...
Approximately...
6 ripe avocados – mash with fork, but leave it a bit chunky
Stir in (these are all approx. guidelines):
2 tbsp epicure guacamole dip mix (if you don’t have this, add 2 finely chopped heads of garlic)
3/4 cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2-4 tbsp lime juice

Serve with your favourite chips and a glass of red or white wine. Both work great!
