My Ultimate, Easy to Bake Bun Recipe
All right! Here is my absolutely no fail white bun recipe.
Thanks to you Auntie Debbie ( I totally stole your recipe!) it is because of you that for over 12 years I have never had a problem making buns! 🥰 The family thanks you as well!
Makes approximately 4 dozen buns
In a large mixing bowl add:
3 cups warm water
2 eggs
2 tbsp salt
3 rounded tbsp quick rise* yeast
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup white sugar
Stir together, then add white flour.
Add the flour and mix with a wooden spoon until you can no longer stir. Then knead the dough while adding more flour until it does not stick to your hands any longer.
You will use approximately 8 cups of flour.
Cover the dough with a plastic bag and tea towel to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Bake at 375° for 15 to 18 minutes until brown.
My absolute favourite way to eat white buns is warm, with a lot of butter and homemade raspberry jam!!
Enjoy!
